Refund & cancellation policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026. This policy applies to professional engagements described on this site — assessments, readiness reviews, incident debriefs, and retainers.
Eligibility
Refunds depend on how much contracted work has started. Informational website content is free; fees apply only to confirmed engagements.
Timeframe to request
Cancellation or refund requests should be sent in writing to info@automateddeploy.digital within 14 days of the triggering event (cancellation decision, missed kickoff, or disputed invoice), unless the statement of work sets a different window.
Full refund
If you cancel before we begin intake work and before any access checklist is opened, we refund 100% of fees paid for that engagement (excluding non-refundable third-party costs already incurred with your written approval).
Partial refund
If intake or analysis has started but no final findings brief or readiness memo has been delivered, we may refund the unused portion after deducting time already spent at the quoted rates. Delivered drafts count as work performed.
Non-refundable items
- Completed findings briefs, readiness memos, and debrief summaries
- Facilitated sessions already held
- Retainer months already commenced, except as noted below
- Approved travel or venue costs for on-site days
Deposits
Some engagements require a deposit to reserve calendar time. Deposits are applied to the final invoice. If you cancel more than 7 days before the scheduled kickoff, the deposit is refundable minus any prep hours already worked. Within 7 days, the deposit is retained unless we cancel.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a kickoff or readout once without fee if you give at least 3 business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a reschedule fee reflecting reserved analyst time.
No-shows
If your team misses a scheduled workshop or readout without 24 hours’ notice, that session is counted as delivered and is not refundable.
Work already started
Once analysis of production signals or timeline reconstruction has begun, fees for hours worked are due even if you later decide not to receive a final brief.
Retainers
Monthly retainers renew month-to-month and may be cancelled with 14 days’ written notice before the next billing date. Unused assessment windows do not roll over unless agreed in writing. Mid-month cancellation does not refund the current month after work for that month has started.
Refund method and processing time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Bank processing times may add a few days.

Exceptions
If we cancel an engagement for reasons other than your breach of the statement of work, you receive a full refund of fees paid for undelivered work. This policy does not cover products, physical goods, or software subscriptions — we do not sell those.
